Description

I'm so pleased to have these visiting regularly this year, at last! My point and shoot cameras are great for insects, but birds are very difficult, hand held on full zoom. So all in all I'm pleased to get even this less than sharp pic!

OH yes we have begun getting visits from them in this early spring too. We have had them just visiting. Not living around us. Lovely shot, Andrea :)

These are such beauties aren't they! It is sharp on the back, so it is probably a bit of the birds head movement that has softened that area a little. Still a wonderful capture! They are twitchy fellows, especially if you get sparrowhawks in your garden! I have picked up a lot of those golden wing feathers in my garden over the years!

This capture is a beauty and now they know where the food is they will keep coming back day after day so you need to keep it topped up.
