Description

This is a bit of fun I created tonight using Photoshop CCs auto-stitch feature. This was created from a series of 9 photos taken earlier today with the Inspire 1 at about 100 feet. I would shoot a photo, then slightly yaw (rotate) the Inspire, and shoot another. I've labeled a few landmarks (note most of them involve food...LOL) I'm still getting used to the amazing app - there are so many things it will do - all kinds of camera settings, and an amazing amount of control.. You can actually park the Inspire in one place, and using your finger on the image on the Ipad, you can actually point the camera where you want it. My main problem is I forget to turn the video recording back on after shooting the stills! :-P More to come this spring... And I haven't forgotten about the Girls, or the Pinup of the Month, either - the next page in the T.N.A. saga is in progress, and the Pinup as well! Thanks for dropping by, and I hope everyone has a great new week!

I find the free Microsoft ICE to be good too. I reckon Joe's Crab Shack would be worth a try!!!

You better put the new toy down and get back to the girls before they pay you a visit and force you to stay at your rendering machine... by breaking your knees! :)

I love BIG panoramas too Rod. You should have opened the pictures in Adobe Bridge and do a lens correction. Then go to Photoshop and Photomerge....... Then you will have a straight horizon. Google Photomerge and there are loads of tutorials on how to do it.

Yeah, I'm still trying to get my head wrapped around Bridge and Lightroom - awesome additions to PS. I'll have to give that a try this weekend. Thanks for the tip, Knut!

Those are some super clear shots. It's fun to scroll back and forth on the ZOOMed image. The red truck started out at the loading dock behind the store next to Bed Bath etc. You can see it in the far right of the composite image. Cool job!

WOW! Very well done! And a river that actually lives up to its name, too! Man, you must be having a ton of fun with this! Next stop - peeping Tom at the White House to see if there's anything to leak to the mad media (second floor windows only!)? But don't try this with your neighbors - might get a heat seeker steering straight at the camera! (Spying can be trying!) Looking forward to more! :-)

I bet the driver of that red truck was one of those people who used to run behind everyone in those long-pan group photos too, just he he could be in the photo twice. Some things never change. Lol.
