Description

Xanthoria parietina is a common and very colourful lichen that will grow happily in both clean and polluted air. The more exposed to sunshine the brighter the colours. This is down by the river, but it is also very plentiful on the cliff in the salt air. Definitely exciting fullsize. Another

Oh wow!! It is so wonderfully rich in this yellow. Absolutely right in the eye... I have a similar in my files from the other, BUT not as beautiful as this. Dont think I bother post it now ;-)
