Description

Craven Pond at Soldiers Memorial Park in La Porte. Still a bit frozen in this photo but just barely; no walking on that! Park is neat place, still 85% water and woods - includes all of Stone Lake, and parts of Pine and Crane Lakes as well as Craven Pond which is a little secluded marshy place off to the side of Stone Lake where you can fish from the shore in peace without a boat going by ;) Best viewed full size.
