I'm only back for a couple, this morning, and I promise to do a marathon session soon, as you've posted an amazing array in the last month or so (where I sense all kinds of subtle new things in your work...,maybe it's just me, I don't know). But this shot is masterfully geometric, the lines are wonderfully colliding and sweeping; and the skewed nature of their inter-cutting is right in line with the concept of the japanese garden. (Ie, they have a way of making stone and nature a mini universe of energies, vectors, and yet peacefulness.) Your hues are as electric as ever: In addition to your deep, deep inner-glow reds, you have those luminous deep yellows---they're not sun yellows, but a deeper green tinged yellow, with lots of light inside them. Even the light on the verticals on the railing is luminous. And it's all balanced by the white-gray criss-crosses of the patio, on the right. (I don't know if that's sand or stone---but it could be either, in traditional Japanese gardens.) What a collection of visual delights! And the two angles of the house---roof eaves being one angle, the railing and walkway being the other---sandwich the rest of the image beautifully. Beautiful. And typical of the onrush of beauty you've posted one after the next in the recent past.
