My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Interesting title, I hope Bill is OK. It is so good to see something from you again. Its like one of your favorite treats that you only get once in a while. And such a cool offering. Really superb layering and post work. I hope things are well with you, Tara.

I get a Claude Monet vibe from this, as in his later works of the bridge over his lilly pond. I hope you are doing well, glad to see you

I see your face smiling in the murk; really wonderful image with the curious title. My menos paused a long, long time ago in a galaxy far away...

very interesting image and title - I've heard a few women describe the effects as your image depicts Nice to see you posting again - I missed your wonderful work! What did you do to Bill? I haven't seen anything from him in a VERY long time!

That is some mother of a hot flush! I love the result. Great to see your smile, and I hope you are enjoying the sewing. I have decided to do a drawing/doodle or something every day, and I feel much healthier for it.

What a lovely image you have created and it is so nice to see your smile in it. My menopause is long gone. Hope you both are well ?

Great to see a new posting from you, Tara - I'm hoping that means you're seeing some improvement in your eye condition. I definitely miss your unique photographic creativity & I hope you will be able to get back to it at some point. Also, please say hi to Bill for me & tell him I miss his photography as well. As for this image, it would be hellish if not for your smiling face & those of the other people in here. Instead, you've created a beautiful blend with very skillful use of transparency & color. I only wish it was a little larger, so I could explore it's subtleties & complexities more thoroughly...

This is quite lovely, Tara! I do hope your vision is improving - you certainly have an eye for creativity! Hope you and Bill are doing well, my dear friend! Looking forward to your next visit (Got a new fly-toy to show you, too! LOL).

You got a big welcome after your absence. And this is a rippling and inward landscape, with fire and deep shadows, with rippled but tranquil waters (they really do feel tranquil), and Japanese-like branches, with flowers; and of course your smiling face, like a ghost spirit saying hi. I know menopause can be very difficult, and there is a feeling of that here, if just little, here. But this also has a reflective, inward air about it; and the water makes it feel very restful. Peaceful. And water has a special connotation with menopause, not only because of the fluids involved, but the lack of them...It feels reflective, maybe the way your life has been of late? I don't know. But it has peace in it, despite the fire. Another beautiful blend from you, and an inward way to say 'hi' in the midst of your hiatus. Hope you're well, and Bill too. With others above, I miss his work too. (Am just stopping by for an image right now, but I'll get to your poem and some others soon.) A passionate painterly blend once more.

We've been out of touch for WAY too long. I love this image, it has that wonderful, dreamy quality to it I so love. A beautiful gift for Mark as well. Let's catch up---soon!!

It's so nice to see you, dear Tara, looking around the corner underneath the green leaf. I see a woman and a baby are in your company, and there is anyway a lot to see and admire in this. I also missed you, and hope everything goes well with you both. Anyway, your imagination is still okay, as I am again impressed by your excellent composition and work. Many (not warm ;-)) hugs!!!
