Description

This is one of a group of perfumes often banned from restaurants in the 80's due to their intensity. Shown here with a pair of my favourite boots. Beloved by gay men as well as the big hair, big shoulders brigade!

I don't know how we do it but as soon as I saw those golden boots I thought "Back to the Eighties". I remember those days. Every elevator seemed to have a strongly scented resident fog. It was hold your breath or take the stairs. On the plus side, my legs did get very strong.

Love the wrinkly texture & color intensity of that gold boot. The first thing I thought of was Elvis in his gold lamé jumpsuit...

Giorgio's Beverly Hills was born for the flashy lights and to dazzle, it was great for attracting attention ... BB

I'm catching up in small bits this time, rather than in marathon sessions. Better for my arm. And it's hard because there's so much in your gallery I want to write on. I loved this shot when it went up, and among your bottle series, this is so unusual because of that big bold boot. And unless you have the largest feet in the Western Hemisphere, that means those are very small bottles! You got the gold and all that crumpled texture (on the boot) beautifully. Great boots---I wonder if they're as comfortable as they look. And the bottles are actually eclipsed in this shot. Their gold is present though, and the shadow makes them a bit melancholy---also like they're clinging to the boot as if it were their mother. Another wonderful bottle shot from you. With a deep reddish brown background, to set off the deep gold tones. Terrific work.
