Description

Français dans le premier commentaire English: The castle de Castelnau-de-Lévis was built in 1235. There are only a few ruins including a watchtower overlooking the Tarn Valley and the town of Albi. The tower, 40 meters high, consists of a semicircular tower which is backed by a square tower. It has three arched floors. Each of them shows traces of a missing floor which doubled the number of stages. The castle owes its sorry state to his career role during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Info wikipedia Some years ago, it was possible to visit this tower "at your own risk" said a panel.... I never made this visit, the stair is very strait and oval... and at the top, it's preferable to have not vertigo... and I have it ! lol! Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 Thanks for all your nice comments on my previous pictures, or for just taking a peek! "Click" to view my previous image.

Alone watching the tower, I get an attack of vertigo ... By a stupid chance, I stood in the wrong line, I had quite a few stairs to climb up Florence Cathedral ... When I finally got up, I only had the desire to lay me flat on the ground ... It's not just you alone so ... Very impressive structure, beautiful photo ..

Don't blame you for not climbing to the top but it is very cool. Around here we tear things down and build modern monstrosities.
