Description

At the dawn of time birds were lords of the sky and they had no need for land or trees. Over the ages their descendants have forgotten much of their past and they have now become terrestrial creatures. So that today, it is only the Great Eagles of the Elven Forest that remember the old knowledge and still possess the ability to fly at the Speed of Sound.

Scene setup and rendered in Octane Render 2.17. Figure setup in DS4.7, Postwork in Photoshop CC. It was surprisingly difficult to come up with an image for this chapter. This was the best version of several attempts, it shows the Great Eagle flying over the Conifer Forest on his way to find a Dragon Archer to help NarieFah. The idea for this image is from the song Speed Of Sound by Coldplay. I hope my friends will enjoy this chapter in the Fallen Tower series. I could look at images like this forever. I assume that you used a warp brush to pull out the eagles flight path. I think this is a real genius way of showing speed, sort of like a slow synch flash in terms of a photographic technique.
