Description
Extracted from Corporal Shion A. Charzide's personal log, with permission.
"Log 2201, November 27.
The Terra system was effectively cut off from getting assistance from Hiraaj and the colonies, thanks to the savage Paklet invasion of Hiraaj just as the reinforcement fleet was about to leave orbit.
In the two months since, Earth and Mars were left to their own dwindling resources. Realizing Earth was the most in need of help, Major Otono ordered all remaining supplies, labor, and firepower sent there.
The supply ships were attacked near Earth's Moon. Three were destroyed, two others secured but heavily damaged. It was decided to sweep the surviving freighters for any Paklets who might have been laying in wait. Brandy, Tiffany, Patricia, Matthias, and myself combed one ship with several other squads."
*****
More vignette than anything else at the moment. Might or might not take place during "Of Men, Melani, and Malevolent Machines."
