Description

I took this several years ago at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C. At the time, they had a fascinating exhibit of the skeletons of a wide variety of animals. I took photos of quite a few of them, but unfortunately neglected to take photos of most of the name tags & I don't remember what kind of animal this is. Sorry about that. I didn't like the original background, so I created this background by combining several different texture filters using Perfect Effects in Photoshop... Please zoom.

Great 3D effects in this capture plus postwork in this image of something that does not look of this world. In fact, the skeletal structure reminds me of the creature from the Alien movie series.
