A flamingo taking a nap in a position that humans would find very difficult to maintain. Taken at Wildlife Safari, a drive through animal park in Winston, Oregon, where most of the animals have lots of room to roam freely...

A lovely photo. It is always a worry to a bird owner like me to see a bird asleep on both legs. It is often a sign of illness. Hopefully this isn't true of this breed.

He is such a beautiful bird; I don't know about the napping on two legs versus one thing, but this one certainly looks healthy. Lovely light and clarity in this shot!
