Description

A sprinkle so bright, from the Spring of the light A clean VUE render. No postwork. To accompany the image. A beautiful instrumental composition. Written by Joe Satriani. It is called... A love eternal: Click here to experience the composition. My favorite time of the year has always been Spring. Especially, March, April and May. And that is right now :) The bright hours of the day have increased by 5 hours, since December 21. Snowdrops, Eranthis, and Great Tit(Parus Major) are all over the place. Forsythia are starting up with light green tips too, at the moment. That is what i enjoy at the moment. Even the dragon painter have found a special motif in the garden...Maybe anyone recognize the motif? :) So.... i have tried to capture what Spring brings, in Denmark, at the moment. A few surreal parts of the image, differ a bit though :) With this image... I also want to say thank you for the many heartfelt and fine dedications made for me in these Galleries, lately. Also thank you for the many warm thoughts, prayers and wishes, sent my way. For my private situation: As many probably remember, i had a CT scan on January 29. On February 6. I had a doctors conversation, where the doctors told me, there were no new signs of cancer. But, because of the pain in my back, that the doctors would go through the scans one more time, or eventually send me to a MR scanner. Approximately a week later, they called me back from the hospital, and told me that cancer have returned. They took me to the hospital on February 23. And made an emergency MR. scan. On February 24. they told me that cancer was back, on full scale, and can no longer be treated #:o( But that they would give me 10-11 ray-treatments, to slow it down.... I started in ray-treatment on February 25. And on February 27. i was sent home from the hospital. I had my last ray-treatment on March 11. And after a new doctor's conversation on March 12. They have now made it clear to me, that my illness can no longer be cured. All treatment i get from now on, is to make the last time i have on this earth... As painless as possible. They do believe at the moment.. that 6-12 months is how much time i have to live. But it is unknown, since they don't know how fast, cancer will grow into vital organs. As you can imagine.. it is a big slap in the face. And i still try to relate to, what i have been told. I am still short for words and thoughts... Should i accept what they have predicted???? Or should i say.. NO WAY... up yours, doc... i refuse to accept your prediction... Maybe anyone here in these fine galleries... have an idea.. about how to handle thoughts like these?? #:o) Right now, as you can see in my Spring 2015 image.. that i just try to enjoy my favorite part of the year.. Spring :) I hope everyone here, and their families, are doing good. Thanks for any comments and/or fave. Hope you like the image.

I do not know first hand, but have heard from people that knew someone that was given a short life expectancy. however they lived much longer than thought by the experts. the human body is amazing on how it can persevere. your art is outstanding Lars and I am glad you were able to post some more work. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts

Yes, Spring is here...the greatest artist of nature! Amazing time for the planet . Your work is wonderful and inspiring. As we have heard many times, doctors were very surprised how well some of their patients recovered from their illnesses. This is what I hope and pray for you, Lars. Have hope and try your best to be strong. Our thoughts and best wishes are with you! As for your image, excellent work!!!

First of all Lars let me say how thrilled I was to see this image today as it was rather uplifting considering Spring is also my favorite time of year. As always you're attention to detail is second to none and you made sure to highlight a musical theme that is present in so many of your images. As for your personal situation and all you have gone through I'd prefer to speak to you more in private. What I will say is never forget man is not in charge on this earth, and that only God knows the time we each have. What matters most is what we do with it while were here, and whom we seek to help and share the news about him.

Your surrealistic images are a continual source of inspiration to me as is your fight with the big "C". The best advice I can pass on to you is, stay positive and live the rest of your life to the fullest, which is how everyone should live their lives. None of us really knows when we will be taken.

Beautiful comments, and I love what Dave wrote, and what everyone else wrote as well. You are loved, and I too wish you great strength to get through this battle, as many have. I also wish you rest and inner peace, after having come through so much in the last year and a half. And as Dave and a few others say, I wish you as many gifts of life as you can find...you deserve them all, Lars. You're an amazing, giving, caring and inspiring soul, and you've given so much to us, even when you've been ill. I do see the motif that the dragon painter is painting---I assume that's Mona Lisa. (Or at least someone like her.) A mythic woman, in all her mystery; and she sits in reddish brown, with a background like Da Vinci's painting---a kind of cosmic mountain-cloud background. I love her there along with the ancient feeling she brings to your vision. And you've used a keyboard as a series of winding steps, going up to the heavens. And you have flowers blooming everywhere, and big ones in the distance. And it's all mixed with snow, because, in this time of year, the snow turns into life. And you have your always-present violinist, playing music from the ages; and those beautiful bold birds. I heard the music too, and it's broad and spacious and loving. Thank you for sharing so much love and transcendence with us, through this time. It's so loving of you to share that, over and over. You bless us all the time. I wish everything to you, Lars. And may blessings be with you constantly, you deserve them all. This is a beautiful gift. Much light to you each day...

Dear Lars, it is not easy to handle a situation so serious, nor even to accept the verdict of the doctors! Many times, however, the doctors are wrong, that and I hope with all my heart that they are wrong in your case. You must never lose hope, Lars.... you have to try to live in peace. You are surrounded by friends who love you and they are near you with the heart even if they are physically far! A big hug

Wonderful image, Lars!!! You did a great tribute to SPRING and to LIFE. It is when everything begins flourishing under the healing light of the SUN and coming out to life. Your long stair, that touches the sky, looks to me a keyboard of a never ending piano and the violinist is playing both instruments, with all her being. It is a never ending music. This fits perfect with the song of the 'a love eternal' that i heard. So beautiful, Lars! This image as always, shows how you love Nature and Nature is Life. It is an intense and powerful image and i am deeply grateful for all the strength that you spread upon all of us here, and that i feel like an immense embrace, in a moment so difficult and painful of your life, Lars. But i continue saying that life is a challenge and that never nobody knows what future has to offer us. Only God knows, what you will find around the corner...!! And i quote you deeply, from my heart: ''NO WAY... up yours, doc... i refuse to accept your prediction...''! This words of you, show your strength , Your Will and Hope! I BOW to YOU Lars, and to your strong fight. Please don't give up! Never lose faith and hope. Thank you for this beautiful image of love and light and i wish that Spring bless you! My thoughts and prayers are with you each day!
