My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

a very dreamy, touching image, with a milky blue-tinged sky and beautiful gold-yellow lights in the leaves. A beautiful capture of this time of year, when winter filters through a still fledgling spring. And lots of shadow on the bottom, opening up to all that light on top...It's beautiful, Tara. I appreciate not only that you did this, but that you did it when your eye made focussing and concentrating (visually) so difficult. Thank you for going through that, it would have been fine if you hadn't and it was very special that you did.You can see that people miss you here; and I hope you reach the day, when you get back to LARC, where your eye problem will be solved and you can return to something you love so much (and do so beautifully). Thank you for doing this for me, and for posting it when you've been away for a long while. I appreciate it all. All my best to your eye and life in general. This was a beautiful dedi.

How lovely! As Mark said, this has a very dreamlike quality to it - very ethereal and soft, yet the colors are so vibrant. A most lovely photo, Tara! Hope things have improved with your vision, my dear friend!

I love this, I think yellow makes me happy, especially like this, all those different variations.

Oooo, I like this immensely! It is all about the light, the light and the light:) I'd know this was your work anywhere. Scrumptious.

Marvelous BD dedication!

This is absolutely brilliant! I love the fact that it's both intense and relaxing at the same time; it keeps a perfect balance, a bit like the intellectual rigors of "Crisis Theory" as explained in Perdido Street Station: the tension between what something is and what something could be is what allows it to exist as it maintains that fragile balance. This image does that perfectly; the warm colors lend a particular intensity that implies one thing, but the image overall is relaxing and tranquil with quite the perfect measure of visual excitement to veer well away from boredom. This is brilliant! It also has a dream like quality and is a perfect birthday dedication! I love this!

An outstanding view it is, with this contrasting gold color, my friend. And I love how the tribe (or branch) of the tree is bent, it fits so well in this type of painting.

I can just imagine - Mark sitting back in a big comfy chair there, somewhere 'organic' ;)) - if you know what I mean ... taking a long lasting look through this golden looking lace-curtain and contemplating all his good Birthday wishes from his friends here at Rendo, perhaps taking another little sip of some refreshment and day-dreaming a bit more ... ah, life couldn't be better ... and another HAPPY and a belated BIRTHDAY WISH to you Mark ... A glorious sight to behold TARA - an illuminating vision and that is what I am wishing to you as well and hoping for a good recovery soon ! BB
