Hi, I am Barbara and live in Lincolnshire. I love nothing better than walking with my 3 dogs, (Large Munsterlanders) and taking the camera along. Iam afraid my photographic skills are not very good, I just point and click & hope for the best. Sometimes I do take some nice shots!!
I have lived with this breed since 1986, before that I had border collies. I was told when getting my first Munster, Jenna, I would become addicted and I sure was, owning 7 of this breed over the years.
Although Munsters are a working gundog, afraid I couldn't shoot anything, so we do other things like, showing, obedience and heelwork to music.
The girls are all different & I hope to show that in their pictures.
I would like to thank my good friend Janeeden for persuading me to get started.
Video's & songs for the girls can be seen on www.jendellas.com

Workers in the New York sewage system encountered a full grown crocodile back in the late 1950s, so this isn't anything new. But it's horrible for the animals. In several countries this sort of thing is forbidden, particularly with so called exotic or wild animals. When I had my 3 rats the pet shop owner had my address and telephone and expected me to call and let the owner know how my rats were living (food, water, light/dark, location of cage, healthy/ill, etc.). I also called to notify when each died. THAT was responsibility on the part of the pet shop, and I appreciated it. As for Kitty, my cat, she's registered with the kennel club and my colleague who gave me Kitty and I talk almost every day about her. The animal hospital in town has her registered, too, and notifies me when it's time for her yearly check up and vaccination. Nice photo of this fellow. But I wouldn't want to be on the same side of the cage bars as he is! They can be dreadfully fast, and don't let go once they bite. I wonder if he knows his name and responds when called. I know bearded dragons can recognize their names and come when called. :-)

Barbara, this is a marvelous photo and so glad they were able to rescue him.

First, I hate it that Albert was found in the trash, that is just so cruel. But... I would love to have had a video of the persons face when they heard a sound in the trash, went to investigate (probably thinking it was a puppy or kitty) and then found an alligator. That would have been a startling discovery.

I'd never buy any animal from a pet shop. I've heard that a very high proportion of puppies they sell are from evil puppy farms :( Looks like you had a nice day out !
