Description

I've been fiddling with DAZ Studio's aniMATE Lite lately. I made some practice clips using the space freighter "The Roc" I created in Hexagon 2.5 for my renders based on the 1968 sci-fi novel "NOVA". The space craft in this story are propelled by what are called projection vanes controlled by pilots connected directly to them by neural interface. I wanted to see these vanes in action so I chose them for my practice run for the animation. This is a screen cap of the two clips I made. Its still very much a work in progress. I made the freighter and test starfield background in Hexagon. The animation was rendered at 15 frames per second. The first took 4 hrs to render, the second 5 hrs. The clips can be seen at these youtube links: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ah02o2FTV3E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYmi09XF0Js&feature=youtu.be
