Description

The "Theatre of Marcellus" in Rome. The first time I saw it was from a taxi's window. Even though it was raining, iI came back to see it again, once again! -*- starting with a small picture I found via vitruvio.ch, it was completely rebuilt in Bryce. It took two days. You cannot build Rome in a Day. Used only two textures from animax.it, my favorite ones. 6h rendering at 1600x1200. -*- Thanks for viewing, we are all really a member of "S.P.Q.R" if we enjoy Rome...

Awesome! I especially love the detail with the arches, having different mats! Great composition and materials! :) Now, why not build the rest of Rome like this??? Please,please....................please...? ;)

like this view the best; can see more details and the way the textures show a gradient, worn effect is excellent. Rome wasn't built in a day, lol!
