Description
This was just a test render of a character package I'm currently working on for M4 and Genesis 1. Lots of different options contained. This render does not by any means show all of the options.
I don't normally post previews of skin texturings until I have all of the little issues ironed out, but this one seems to be a bit of an exception. I liked this particular test render enough to finalize the image and keep it. No postwork except for the frame and my signature.
The figure in front is a Genesis 1 (morphs will be changing), and the figure in back is a Michael 4 (morphs are finalized). Each skin option comes with and without the tats, and each tat can be applied with or without the other options individually. There's multiple eye textures; some damaged, some not.
The total size is over 500megs in textures alone (yes, there are reasons for that). My goal with him is to make him usable for both Poser and DS folks, natively. The M4 version will be done in Poser native files, and the Genesis version will be done in Studio native files. This is my way of trying to make sure users of both programs can work with him in their chosen program with as little headache as possible.
The Poser version will probably be the first one released; I'm working on making the MAT files for it right now... and there are a lot to make. I need to still make the MAT files for the textures on the DS version, and I will end up having to re-dial the morphs for Genesis as well, because I'm not sure about how GenX makes files. So, the DS version is going to be a while yet. I figured I'd release the Poser version first, because DS users can still make use of the textures (with some tweaking), while Poser-native users often times can NOT make use of DS files.
Anyway - just a bit of a 'fun' test render... and I am basically happy with how he's coming out. And before anyone asks - no, Sani is not intended to be of any particular "tribe." These are just fantasy textures, done with an American Indian theme, using colors frequently seen in the artworks and decorations of the Coastal Salish peoples, because those are what I'm familiar with, and those are where I draw most of my inspiration from.
Image rendered in Daz Studio 4.6, and the limited postwork (frame and signature) were done in Corel Photopaint.
