Description

I teetered on the steep slope of our small flower garden, a place devoid of full sunlight, explaining why many plants there struggle to bloom fully. This hyacinth gave an unexpected joy as the sun low in the sky cast a still bright light on the flower. I held the tripod and held my balance and pushed the shutter: The resulting image made me smile and be joyful...sometimes we get lucky and it all works. The transparency of the blossoms was a very happy surprise..hoped but not assured. This time it worked well and once on my computer, there was not much to edit beyond crop and save to upload. It was there already as it should be in an ideal world for a photographer.
