Description

When Zlata heard that part of Christophers Crocodile experience was feeding the crocodiles she came prepared. She thought perhaps she would be allowed to. Unfortunately when she heard that the apple she had brought was not what they ate, she was a bit dissappointed. She decided it was best not to ask what they did actually eat. The younger ones were fed dead chics. They do not feed food that is alive. When Christopher fed them they had pieces of Venison This little fella was suspended here most of our visit. We were told that crocs/alligators only use a 1/4 of their heart as they don't move very often. Even when the younger ones were moving in the water, they went with the flow of the water & only used their tails as rudders. Very interesting creatures. Aw Zlata does look a tad disappointed that her apple was not a dietary source for the crocs. Great camera work and awesome information. Thanks for sharing Barbara. xx oo
