Another one of many cool participants, captured back on 8/27/07, in a parade celebrating our city's 50th birthday anniversary.
This one was carrying a drummer and the new school marm.

Wonderful capture of one of our earlier means of transportation. I'm certain there's going to come a time when children will be blown away to find this is how people used to get places -- if they don't now. They seem to be so used to many of the modern devices that they don't realize many of us grew up without all these modern gadgets. I sometimes think we'd be so much better off without a lot of the things we have today.

Excellent shot of this beautiful old carriage. You live in a young city. In the city where I live is celebrated the 1250 year anniversary this year.
