Description

Three Falcon class Atmospheric Capable Frigates penetrate the atmosphere of a planet. Their thermal shields protect them from the massive friction, the plasma wakes glowing behind them. In the distance, a Prometheus B class support carrier stands overwatch.* I recently came to realise that the Terran spacecraft I have been attempting to model have, basically, NO aerodynamics, and would not handle well in an atmosphere. I have tried to rectify that with a couple of additions to my designs. These being the Falcon class Frigate (appearing in this and the following 2 images) and the Eagle class Destroyer (still in design stage. not quite ready). Let me know what you think. * Plasma wakes and basic image adjustment via Photoshop.
