Description
Chapter Two begins as promised with the expedition to Skaro by Trix and her fellow archaeologists. Given that Terry Nation's original Dalek adventures on Skaro drew heavily from the kind of 'boys own adventure' tradition in British adventure comics, there is a fair nod in that direction from this story. Skaro is shown with faint planetary rings as per its description in 'The Dalek Handbook' by Steve Tribe and James Goss (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Doctor-Who-The-Dalek-Handbook/dp/1849902321).
All that is missing are Skaro's most famous inhabitants- the otherwise ever-present Daleks. Now where could they have gone?
