a beautiful flower shot, for the light deep in the center (agree with Denise), for the light on the rim---almost painterly in feel---for the few water drops on the flower (and many more on the leaves), for the triumph of the stamen shooting out into the world, and for the composition, which makes this lily reach across space and fill the whole frame. There's even a bit of flare on the top of the lily, a very sweet touch. Your shadow is very effective against the white; and the background is quite varied, in contrast with the sheer texture of the flower. And a capture with real 'gesture', like the flower is in the midst of a notable act. Beautiful capture of a beautiful flower.
