Description
A lot of you have been so kind as to follow my post about my babies. I have been so delighted about the support and interest in my little ones. As most of you know by now, I can't always save them. Sometimes one captures all of our hearts. Shokojo was one of those. She was such a love and was so brave. She tried, but she was just too small. I have put this together as it just doesn't seem right to let her go without doing something to honor her. These foot prints are hers. So much like a human baby. Thank you for all of the support and kindness.

So sad, there are ones we cannot save, even though we do our best. Love your words, you do wonderful work. xxx

For every sadness you endure saving animals, you know the greater need... you unselfishly bear the sorrows, then you do it all over again... you are an inspiration and true testament of what is good in this world today. - God Bless...

The day you come to heaven, Bev, I can just see you... no, I can't see you because of all the animals you've helped crowding all over you! I can just imagine the scene - birds and 4 legged critters all crowding all over you to welcome you. This reminds me of Whitey who WANTED to live and put up a valiant fight to live despite having no viable lung tissue left (due to the cancer). Yet he refused to give up despite what he must have been suffering. Life wants to live on despite all odds. Nice poem and memorial. :-)
