Description

...you'd probably be quite confused. With no Tailspin to fly them, the staff seem to have lost the heart for aircraft building. This surprises me, as whenever an aircraft was completed, the staff all headed for the Cold War bunker, 100 feet below The Plant, until the test flights were over. However 'Wrongway' has given them a new interest. It seems his time in ' the East ' gave him an extensive knowledge of trains of a particular type. To this end, we have opened up the engine shed, which has been mothballed since the Beeching cuts of the 60's. After a quick structural survey to check everything is sound, we began collecting some stuff together. The Plants steel mill is rolling armour plate for all they are worth...we're going to need a couple of hundred tons at least. The only remaining member of staff with any experience in this field is Stan from the paint shop, so he's been promoted to Foreman for this build. Wrongway will be project manager and it looks like I'll be making everyone tea. I'll keep you informed of progress....Yesterday saw the inquest into the unfortunate accident the other week. There were 2 official findings : 1. The accident was caused by engine failure... 2. It's a miracle Tailspin lived as long as he did, although when his time came it was doing 'the right thing'.......closure?? I don't know, I still have a feeling in the back of my mind........but that's probably just me...

Yes, that is quite a big surprise Neil. Armoured trains eh? whatever next? ...as for that feeling, it's probably best to trust your instincts :)

It's nice to give the crew a new hobby, but keep your eyes peeled because Tailspin is out there somewhere. He may be dazed and confused from . . . Wait. That is his normal condition. Could he be suffering from a concussion that has left him sane, rational and (God Forbid!) NORMAL???? Is that why no one can spot him? Keep us informed, please.

Whew, I was afraid it might be the Teddy Bears Picnic. Although I guess that was the woods. Like bad pennies things just have a habit of turning up.
