Description

We were driving along a beach access road in Bandon when my grandson said he saw someone making something "cool" in the sand. I asked him if it was worth turning back for & he said it was, so I made a u-turn, parked & we watched this man making his designs in the sand from a bluff overlooking the beach. He was very deliberate, working slowly & standing back periodically to consider his next move. One more photo to come with a wider view of his whole design... Please zoom.

Here's a video about one man who does a similar kind of beach sand art: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttwxawO0ESc. Lucky, the Eligh noticed and that you turned around.

Not an easy task and a great shot. I have seen this done, in the snow, with snowshoes!
