more pure head-portraiture, and it's exquisite. I love that you're using several hues---slate blues, a bluish gray, black and white. And in the face, red for the lips, and greens and yellows in the eyes. Yes, it could be a drag queen or not. The expression is intense and theatrical---she looks like she's clearly presenting herself to the world. Great job on the eyes, they're big and fish-like (in shape). And the hair departs from her face in big waves, they overlap and fly and flow until they part into separate waves at their end. The far left of your portrait shows the hair-waves reaching 'up' like arms or limbs. And once again, you "end" the portrait---on the bottom---with your characteristic pointed black line (against which you put your signature, in a saturated bright green). Marvelous portraiture, and I love how you let the paper show through the paint. It makes it more painterly. (This HAS to be seen full-size: Your brushwork, and all the interlacing lines, come out so much better, full size.) Terrific work, Yves.

Bonne question... Possible... Ou c'est simplement une femme de caractère. Dans tous les cas, on reste coi devant sa beauté !
