Description

It was raining really hard a few weeks ago. Really hard. I live on the edge of town, and have seen foxes, deer, bobcats, owls, hawks, skunks, rabbits and even an old runaway cow. But this is the first time I've ever seen Turkey. In this case it was a group of 12 making a run out of the little brush nearby and trying to make it back into the nearby unpopulated countryside.

Wild turkeys are regular visitors to our house in large numbers like this & can be pests - they leave their droppings in plentiful supply. We also have all the other animals you mentioned (as well as bear, cougar, coyoye & possums) & I've seen them all except for cougars & bobcats - I would love to get a glimpse of one of them...
