Firebugs! I love these things! We don't have them in the USA...at least not that I now of, but in April, Prague is covered with them. They're such interesting creatures, and I love their tribal mask patterns. This is a gorgeous mating pile you've captured here. They're a nice compliment to the green lichen. Marvelous! Thank you for posting this, as the image brings back some pretty profound memories for me.
