Description
This little Roman soldier on Golgatha feels left out so I put him in the thumb nail!
This photo was taken with flash due to the distance from the Easter landscape, estimated at 8 meters.
The landscape is in a side chapel and built over a stone altar. The hill and city are made of plastic foam and thus light weight and easy to position. In this photo, I've labelled the different figures found in my previous posts. The spot lights on them are discernable despite the flash. There are 3 crosses on the hill casting 4 shadows due to overlapping spot lights!
I felt this overview would be a nice end of my posts from the Easter landscape. I hope you've enjoyed the series.
Now I have to find something else to photograph and post.
:)
Enjoy!

I was going to ask for this shot. It's nice to have the big picture. I don't know what you will do next but I have so enjoyed this series.

Thanks Bev. It's been a pleasure to post these. It's the first time I go through the landscape and figures. Previously it been the whole or a small part of it. This year I've tried to present the details and the whole picture. Thanks for the comments! :)

Excellent finale sir - the model looks good - I wonder how long it took to build and organise fully?

About 5 days but it was not a none-stop job. There were breaks in the work schedule, but daily progress was noticeable. :)

Indeed, you wouldn't want to leave that lonely soldier out - he might poke you with that sharp stick he's carrying.... This is a great overview of this display, and it's been a delightful and inspiring series to highlight what the Easter holiday is all about. Well done, my friend! I'm sure you'll find many more subjects to delight us with. Photo ops have a tendency to pop up when you least expect them. And usually when you don't have a camera on you...:-P
