Description
I learned to clean house as a boy
And now and then it brought me joy
Wash and shine - vacuum and dust
Streak-free windows were a must
Scrub linoleum until it squeaked
Then wax it till its beauty peaked
Now I know how to procrastinate
Do it today – naaaw – it can wait
I spend my time in better ways
Like waiting for nights to turn to days
Then waiting for days to turn to nights
Ignoring dust and other such sights
If things get cluttered in any room
I handle that with a push-around broom
Cleaning was a habit I decided
Not worth the satisfaction it provided
And as for it being good exercise
I file that under a pack of lies
I keep better fit with a diet pill
And getting up ten times during Dr. Phil
Waking to the kitchen for some snack
And eating it as I’m walking back
As for posing danger to my health
I find myself with sufficient wealth
To handle germs so I’m not nervous...
Once a year I hire HAZMAT service!

Not exactly true, I do clean sometimes - but I don't like it! If I really could afford cleaning service I probably would outsource the task ;)

Took the words right out of my mouth (except I don't watch Dr Phil - or any TV in general.)
