Ars-sur-Formans is a small city in Burgondy, in France, where lived a priest named Jean Marie Vianney (1786 - 1859), who was canonized for several reasons, in 1925.
He became in 1929 patron of the parish priests in catholic religion.
Here is the inside of the basilica built around the old church in the village and the grave with the body of the saint (the face is made of wax).
Many pilgrims come here to pray.

Ah! Le "Curé d'Ars", dont la ville a été rendue célèbre par les mots croisés. Architecture un peu lourdingue, à mon goût...mais belle lumière.
