well back to america (I'm doing this last, of this session, as I've just traveled through Paris with your eye)...the people here give real scale and perspective, because without them I'd not have realized how large those boulders are. This has some of the feel of your misty beautiful "Restless Sea," only it's got more clarity and less mist. But there's still an quiet sense of mist here, of atmosphere; and the sweep from front around to back is beautiful. Your angle allowed you to capture the layered overlaps of waves---they're like slate or sheets of silk---and the beautiful spacing of those boulders. And the people really change everything---because they're really small: This is a monumental looking place. Your background frames it all in a deep blue, and you balance that with the golden browns of the foreground. A beautiful capture of so much seascape, with people to make it all grander. I'm at over an hour now, Claude (an hour and almost 20 minutes), so I'll stop for now. I wish I moved faster, I'd love to comment on a lot more pics per session; but I see everything, and as you know, I've just loved what you've been posting of late. I'll fav this, but also the whole output, because it's all been wonderful work from you.
