Beautiful capture of a lovely creature. He is certainly a little more colorful than Duck #7 too.

Yes (HopeFadesEternal), he's more colorful than Duck #7. But of course, Duck #7 was as much a portrait of that amazing surrounding water as it was of the duck. But these ducks all come in different sizes, shapes and hues. This one is a portrait, like he posed so you could paint him for his family, as an heirloom. I love Denise's "A movie star hunk, at least in his own mind!" Lol. A real studio portrait shot, even though it was caught quickly, and outside...you got the feeling of a duck leaving a noble portrait of himself for his heirs. An almost ceramic like quality to his neck and head colors, too. And such glowing orange feet. A fine portrait, and I don't know how you get a closeup portrait like this, with a living walking duck. I've had to kneel and make no sound to get a shot like this...
