Description
Cookie for lunch, Fred ‽ Where'd you get that!
Hadn't seen Fred for a few days, even when I put out a few nuts for him, so went by a few trees he hangs out in to check on him... caught him cheating on his diet! He knows he's only supposed to have treats on holidays!
Looks best zoomed full size. Thanks for looking & commenting.

Amusing capture of your Fred, stealthily hiding behind a tree trunk while noshing on a cookie. I thought at first I was looking a tan caterpillar in the midst of all those twigs.

no doubt that if you offered a cup of hot chocolate (with whipped cream) he'd take you up on the offer and dunk his cookie init. Great capture

wonderful sighting, and the shot is taken over by that huge tail which makes it seem (almost) like a piece of wall art! I agree with Harry that a caterpillar comes to mind. A really fun capture, well composed. Lol on your holiday remark---and was it really National Squirrel Nuts for Lunch Day? I've seen holiday lists, so I wouldn't be surprised. A lot of fun, and a fine sighting for a shot.

I don't think so, not sure many would want to eat squirrel nuts ;) Jan 21st is National Squirrel Appreciation Day though!
