both fine detailed shots of the highly complex world of concrete or stone bricks. The bottom one is like a study, with all the craters and textures clearly laid out for us, and all the deep shadows too. All fine detail. The top one, on the other hand, looks like some huge wall from ancient Mesopotamia, and that shadow at the right, mixed with the obliterating light at the same apor, make this feel like something from the Bible or the Epic of Gilgamesh, or some similar ancient work. It has such presence in this angle. And the colors morph into a bluish tint (on the right), with hints of red or pink (on the left). I love the angle: It really feels foreboding and monumental. So the 2d shot is like a closeup for study, where we get to see what it's made of, as if you're showing us what 'went into' this ancient monument. I'd have never, never guessed this was City Hall! Fine work, Harry. I'm expecting some king to come out and make a decree. (When's the last time you made a decree? It's been at least 30 years for me. Every so often we just need to make a decree...) You've isolated this into something from another age. Fine work, Sir H.

The angle of light gave you great textures there. Nicely seen and captured, Harry.

How did you know? I love rubbing up against things like this...I must have bear blood in me or something. Wonderful textures and light/shadows on these building blocks, Harry!
