You caught the intensity (a slightly angry intensity) of youth. Her eyes are like fearsome birds in flight. (Like eagles.) Her lips are determined and sensual, with a wonderful use of black mingling with red. Your shadows---around the lips and on the neck---are intense too, suiting the mood of the young woman. And all that red gives 'fire' to her expression. And I like how her hair is in two big pieces---right and left---with the right side sweeping out and around, until it frames her face. And you "end" her neck with a sleek black line, coming to a point at the bottom of the image: Very well done, Yves! And your signature is perfectly placed too. A very fine portrait of an intense youth. And as always: In zoom, it fills the screen with her intensity. (I zoom everything...and with your work, zoom is absolutely essential, to feel the full power of your work.) A marvelous portrait.
