The bit on the right is the thread of evidence that this is a bolt or as we would call it, in the UK, a set screw because the thread goes all the way up to the head !!!! Very good shot Ray and a nice colourful texture.

This is absolutely gorgeous! There's a particular sort of beauty involved in what we commonly call "decay." Thing seem to become more of themselves when they enter into that period of decline. Screws and bolts actually become screws and bolts when they corrode, but when they're fresh and new, they're so easy to ignore. It's almost as if they don't exist until they're approaching uselessness.
