Description
My native wood-mouse making use of the hole he made in my garage door, in search of a nut.
Jayfar would have his shovel out at this point, but I have a soft spot for the little fellow.... he's bottom of the food chain & got to live somewhere...
Thanks for looking & have a great weekend...
~Steve~

They can be cute and also absolute pests all in one, that is the problem at times. Great capture.

Lovely capture! I like these little demonds. They are so nice that I cant kill them. So I capture them and then I let them free far from my home.

A superb portrait! The woodmice and the yellow necked mice have been very happy in my garden for years, but I have to put poison down in the house. They would be happy to eat through the ring main, and made a great nest out of back copies of Motorcycle News.

What a splendid shot!! My first thought was..."no way a mouse would sit still for me while I tried to get a shot!" And then I saw the 840mm in your exif data and had to go grab a napkin as I was drooling with jealousy. Great that he looked right at you and stayed long enough for this great shot!

What a wonderful portrait of this fearsome creature! I love the little mousies, I would never kill them...

This is a great shot & he is cute, but unfortunately they are pests who carry diseases that can infect humans, they tear things up to make their nests & they leave their droppings all over the place. I'm happy to see them survive in the wild, but when they invade my space, either our cats will get them or our traps will...
