As a boy I wandered field and mountain, desert and ocean, forest and the icy reaches at the top and bottom of our world, and each place I found was another mystery waiting for me to discover. One day I found a silver doorway set into the side of a tall mountain. There were such detailed carvings of moons and planets and stars and all those things beyond our own small planet that I pulled the door open without hesitation, and within was the infinite apeirogon. I traveled the apeirogon on the back of a moonbeam I had rescued from the Land of Shadows. In time, I came to the Crystal Universe, and there I live to this day, writing of all I have seen.

I feel that I am standing on the shore, Of a vast ocean that must be emptied, And I am forced to do so, With only a teaspoon. I feel that I am standing, On the shore of a vast ocean, I feel that I am standing, At the very edge of the world. You see Wolf, it writes itself and there is no such thing as too much Zam... :) Keep up the good work!

Very beautiful image. I'd like to see an increase in character count across the board, I find myself having to heavily edit information out of descriptions to make them fit for some of my historical photos. File size could also be a bit larger - I have to reduce the quality on almost every photo sometimes to the point I can even see it a bit on my little old crappy monitor on which I can rarely tell much diff when people gripe about low res vs. hi res renders. I worry about how they might be looking for people with large high quality displays.

I don't find any of your work depressing. Quite the contrary, I find it very uplifting and inspiring. The images are beautiful and Zam the explorer works perfectly as the focal point in them. The stories show people trained in violence learning to build a new world and raise their children in peace and "normalcy". I'm not holding my breath for larger image or word limits. This is a business to sell products and the Gallery is offered as a place for members to express themselves. It also serves as free advertising for those products. If Renderosity ever get to the Amazon levels, we might get larger space to express our love for the products.

I completely agree with you that Rendo is a business and selling product is the main focus. I have two subscription services already and would be more than willing to buy another subscription service if one were offered for extended character count. I'm sure 25k character count is fine for the poets and occasional very short story, but I often find myself hitting the wall on character count. Combine wattpad's perfect writing platform with Rendo's superior image gallery, and you would have a perfect art web site (DA also has a great image gallery, their writing platform is horrid).

Fantastic scene and very beautiful. I think your writing is great, your chapters are smooth and interesting and the characters are well introduced and built up, the feelings you bring out in the stories are great. Maybe if Rendo were to offer larger spaces for images and writings it might pull more artist to join the site and increase their revenues. Anyway keep up your outstanding work!

Your Zam Character is a universal metaphor that each and everyone of us can identify with. Changing this would remove that thread of universality and maybe the scope and meaning in all your stories. Don't try to fix what ain't broken. I love your images.

I agree with Greywolf44 about Zam. He is easily your most visible icon and spokes person for your work here. But in the end, it is you that has to decide how you wish to proceed. I love your art and writing and am always delighted by both! May the gods of inspiration continue to bless your efforts!

Zam says so much in each scene he is in. this one is powerful and majestic, the lighting is from God. well done, you!

Depressing, meloncholy and stagnate? - NOT - Your art is always an inspiration and a joy, even when it was the demonic teddy bear! To much Zam ?- NEVER NEVER NEVER - Sure use other characters along with him but it would be like Walt turning his back on a certain mouse, he's your identifying point for viewers, just has to be there often in my opinion, but as always it is your art and expression so what ever you do will be the right thing. You obviously realize you can post more than one image per day, why can't you do that with your stories, as in Chapter, Part, Section, you are already doing the section idea, just post them seperately, even if one section is only 12,000 characters and indicate at the end to look for another section posted that day so the readers won't miss it, Could even incorporate a standard text block into the available image. Or take the first and second comment blocks and finish the chapter there if it's just a bit more you want to include like another writer/artist I visit regularly! Just thoughts! About the image - bakapo said it best!!!!!!

I try not to post more than one story a day. I've learned that whether visual or written art, each subsequent story has less and less views. People don't like commenting on more than one or two images from an artist per day. When you post a full ten at a time, you almost guarantee you won't get any views. Also, the subsequent stories get lost in crush of other postings, splitting the posts apart and further annoying viewers. I'm just saying the posting space is seriously disproportionate.

Wow, sure became the villain with my comment. I meant that the images had a pensive look to them - dreamily thoughtful. I did not mean they were depressing. As with this image, it conveys to me the idea that the figure is wondering what's beyond the horizon, or perhaps he sees a ship and wonders where it has been and where it is going. Art should evoke emotions and those emotions would be dependent on the mood of the viewer at that moment. The viewer's interpretation does not necessarily match the intent of the artist. I look back on some of the older Zam images and see the mischievous, inquisitive. and playful. As far as Zam being the central figure, I don't see that it matters.

Very dramatic image...Keep Zam as he adds that extra interest to your fantastic images
