I went to the crayfish festival here in lake Charles It for support of Eljay Foundation for Parkinson Syndrome Awarenes. It started six years ago and is raising money for the local charter. Crayfish taste good also. here a link of what it is all about http://downtowncrawfest.com/

I have tried boiled crawfish once in Houston and did not care for it, but I like them fried. My mother had Parkinson's disease , so I can relate to the cause

Your photos of all the activity in your area, and the culture and the food and the day to day and the worship, etc etc, is always so rich. This is a lovely shot of people eating crayfish. We don't get crayfish up in Chicago, and it looks delicious. You treated the shot to make it very intense. And your strong white table brings out the fish all the more. A lovely vital photo.
