Description

Prince Arthur from England, Prince Philip from France, Prince Dhimiter from Albania, Prince Aragon from Spain and Prince Abelard from Germany have settled in for the night enjoying each other's company seated comfortably by the fire in the tavern area of the Inn. They keep the Inn keeper busy preparing them food and keeping their ale mugs properly supplied. It was a long ride from the coast where they left their luxurious camps and retainers. The English Prince had the idea of an adventure that brought the five together. They all knew each other since childhood and had talked about doing something like this when they grew up. They have all passed their 18th birthdays. They all arrived at a chateau in France that Prince Philip provided. From there, they arranged for a camping expedition. Prince Philip suggested the coast of languedoc, an area in the south of france alongside the pyrenees, for its beauty and diversity. Their retinue consisted of large amounts of baggage providing 'essential luxuries' to accompany them during this phase of their adventure. But as they spent the days and night together, remembering the exhuberance of youth and the adventures they swore they would all undertake someday, they began formulating a plan to leave all the luxury behind and have an adventure none of them would forget. It was on the final day of camping that they decided they wanted to undertake some kind of quest. But what quest would be worthy of their efforts? None of the Princes could think of anything. Finally, Prince Philip suggested that they just take off on their best mounts and head north. Adventure and a quest would surely find them if they just took the first steps. They sent their retinues back to their respective homes with the news of their intentions. So this is where we find them, here tonight, at this lowly Inn, far away from all their royal trappings, traveling as though they didn't have a care in the world. Fantastic start to a story! And a deceptively complex scene. How you managed such a complex scene with so many characters without melting your computer is beyond me. I add more than three characters and my computer gets up and leaves the room.
