Description

The Luberon is a very agreable zone in the south of France, a part of the Provence area. You find here small towns and beautiful villages and the climatre is really fine... Cheers! Village modeled in Blender, own textures as usual. ps: "Bullit" was visible in France only in 1969; and the poster for the Le Mans race is for 1968... little mistake, because the second one should be under the other.

J'ai enseigné à l'Isle sur la Sorgue pendant 6 ans et j'ai habité dans le Luberon, à Ménerbes exactement, pendant ces six années. Tu parles qu'elle me plait cette image! Soleil et ombre, lavandes et platanes...Tout le midi, quoi! A quand le pastis sur la place du village?

Beautiful image. The Beetle is apparently a pre-1967 model. I am sure that older ones were imported. When I was a very young child, I met with someone who had bought a "split" one (before 1953). I was fascinated by this model. Very strangely, the last Renault Twingo (since end-2014) is quite similar, with a rear-placed engine which is fan-cooled instead of water-cooled, like the Beetles produced from 1938 to 2003.
