Captured 4/12/15 @ 10:53 am, at the once beautiful Descanso Gardens in beautiful La Cañada Flintridge, California.

Lots of treetop confusion as those branches twist all around and initiate conversations with the ones across the tree! Great capture, Harry!

I Like the term "maelstrom," because this really has the feeling of one. A really strong capture of a tree and all its frizzy branches and leaves deluging the eye. It looks like a tree on a bad hair day. A real mass of colliding lines and twists, and smatterings of needles and leaves (the flat leaves from a tree below, I believe), all against a blue sky...Almost an abstract (which you might have intended), and a real assault of wires; and your crop takes us right in the middle of it all. Fine capture, with nothing else behind it. Very intense.
