The initial effort expended to achieve something new costs a good bit of energy. But the relaxation gives a feeling of accomplishment. AND an opportunity to look around. Hey, I'm higher up than my human. I can look DOWN at her instead of always look up at her! Ain't this cool? I remember how it felt as a teen and I grew past my mother, becoming taller than her. That really felt strange! Then I nearly outgrew my father, too. I wonder if this little fellow feels the same? And being able to look down on us - how does that affect the relationship between raccoon and human care giver? I'd find that interesting to hear about. Keep up the good work! :-) Kitty's just gotten dinner and I'm soon off to bed (it's 10:00 PM here). Have a good week end!
