Description

some of my older drawings are fading fast, figured i'd inflict them on whoever views before they get too bad... i grew up in Cuba... i remember the monarch caterpillars on Frunjipan leaves vividly, when some one got permission/visa to leave, luggage items were scarce, a black market industry sprung up, of people who made duffle bags out of assorted rags/quilts/curtains, the resulting bags were usually striped w the different materials, and looked like giant monarch caterpillars, the disparaging nickname bestowed on the emmigrants became "gusano"...which is spanish for worm
