The elders die
the homeless cry
Mothers sing soft lullabies
A baby is born
a flower grows
The miracle of life
a secret no one knows
A soldier screams
a life is lost
America is free
but at a cost
America will always and forever be
The land of the beautiful

Let freedom ring
from sea to shining sea
May GOD BLESS America
and keep it FREE
