Hi. My real name is Gary and I live in the state of Ohio about 20 miles due north of Cincinnati. My professional background is in mechanical engineering. I studied at the University of Cincinnati. The first half of my career was spent on the drawing board and the second half at a Unigraphics workstation.
But, I have always dabbled in art. I started using Poser when it was first introduced. And, I also started using PhotoShop with version 2.5, in the early 90's.
When I had my home based Product Design & Illustration business, I very often super imposed Victoria 2 into my product renderings just for a human size reference. Poser has really come a long, long way, since those early days. The product content at Renderosity, DAZ, Content Paradise, YURdigital and RDNA is just amazing. The vendors at these sites are incredible.
I really like working in 3D space. That's why I also have Bryce, Carrara and Rhino 3D in my toolbox, as well.
The profile picture is from my pre-UC days. I'm the one with the Rickenbacker.
Well, that's me in a nutshell. See ya!

great idea for a render and use of the Great Room. I spent two days in a mansion hanging nothing except pictures in a huge stairwell several years ago

Thank you all for the great comments ! ! ! This was one (cropped) still frame of a stop action music video I made back in January. As the scene angles changed, Jaime repositioned herself around the staircase to observe each picture as it was replaced with another as they progressed up the stairway. Another image that I recently posted, "Chained to a Memory," was actually in the opening scene of that video. Thanks again for looking and for all the kind words.
