wow, a small painting, kind of a 'miniature' from you. And delightful. It's not easy to paint a full scene in such small dimensions, but you caught the inner-absorption of the flute player, and the wrinkles and folds of his clothes. And by painting him right in front of that statue, you made a wonderful fun juxtaposition. I love that you have them together here. And the wall behind them is wonderfully plain, simple, and---in its own basic way---poetic. You got the random twist of the electrical cord too (connected to the stand). This is a small little joy. And I love that simple wall behind them.
